Portly members of staff who work on the oil platforms off the coast of Norway have been told to lose weight or lose their job.
Those with a waistline exceeding 115 centimetres, or who weigh more than 120 kilogrammes, could be blocked from working in the lucrative industry according to a new order by Norwegian local authorities.
The fattist ruling has sparked outrage from workers, who claim it is a violation of rules aiming to create an inclusive work force.
