The various beaches of Sines municipality have ‘lost their lifeguards’ temporarily due to three positive cases of SARS-CoV-2 having been detected among them. Monday will see tests carried out on all the lifeguards who have been sent home. Meantime, Maritime police are keeping a closer than usual eye on the beaches with motorised patrols while the message to those using them has been “please be careful” (or more precisely): “We appeal to all users of the beaches that were supervised to adopt adequate behaviour with regard to the surrounding environment”.
