FURTHER STRIKES by Groundforce are due to take place today (Friday) and continue throughout the weekend.
Portuguese airline TAP has criticised Groundforce and holds the company responsible for problems with passengers’ baggage and delays.
There was a possibility that the contract between the two companies would end but the government said it must stand.
A 48-hour strike began on August 18 over pay and long working hours, which disrupted many flights throughout Portugal and the same is expected this weekend, starting today (Friday).
