A 26-YEAR-old man was arrested on Monday by the Polícia Judiciária of Braga on suspicion of starting a fire in Vila Verde, northern Portugal on August 9.
A spokesman for the Polícia Judiciária said: “The man put a large area of forest at risk which didn’t get out of hand because of the firemen’s quick response”.
After an interrogation, the suspect is awaiting trial at home but has to report to his local police station regularly.
