AN EXPERT chocolatier has resigned from UK chocolate manufacturer, Thorntons, after he sabotaged a rival company’s chocolate.
It is believed that he squashed truffles at Hotel Chocolat in Nottingham after being observed by staff handling them.
The store manager said staff found more than 90 euros worth of damaged chocolate but decided not to take any further action.
