For the first time in its history, TAP transported more than 30,000 passengers per day on July 27, 28 and 29.
On July 27, some 30,417 people travelled with the airline, on the following day this reached 30,632 and on July 29 it peaked at 30,805.
According to the airline, the previous record for passengers to travel on one day on TAP flights was 28,168 on August 12, 2006.
Between January and June, TAP transported 3,358,138 passengers – 6.9 per cent more than in 2006.
