Dear Editor,
My husband collapsed in the Marina de Vilamoura on Monday evening. The response of Portuguese holidaymakers, police and ambulance crew was tremendous. Unfortunately, due to all the trauma, I did not take note of any names.
A huge thank you to the couple who called the ambulance and waited with me for over an hour; the couple who live in central Portugal for their support; the guy who bought water to dab on my husband’s brow; the Portuguese couple who continued to track my husband’s vital signs and the guy from Lisbon who took off his T-shirt to support my husband’s shoulder and head.
A massive thank you to all of you.
