A music festival celebrating three cultures is taking place at Cacela Velha, Vila Real de Santo António, this month.
Entitled ‘Music of 3 Cultures’, the event will see three performances at the old cemetery by groups Sefardim (Sephardic music) from Portugal on July 27, Aquitania (Medieval Christian Music) from Spain on the 28th and Iman Al Kandousi (Andalusi Arabic Music) from Morocco on the 29th.
Tickets to the concerts, which start at 10pm, cost €8 and will be sold at the venue on performance days from 5pm to 9pm.
