A FARM owner in the US was left baffled when she returned from a week long holiday to find her 15-metre high California pepper tree was missing. It was later discovered that a local felling company was contacted with a request to cut down the tree. It took two days to cut it down at a cost of 3,500 US dollars and the company has not been paid. There are currently no suspects.
