Portisub diving school and Lagoa council are teaming up yet again for another underwater cleanup initiative, this time at Praia do Olival on Saturday, August 3.
The event is open to everyone.
“Our oceans are being invaded by tons of plastics, and anything we can do to remove this waste from the sea will be a step in the right direction,” the diving school says.
Even if you’re not a diver, you can help out by removing rubbish from the foot on foot or by snorkeling. Kayaks and SUP riders are also welcomed.
