An initiative combining wine and fado is being launched in Alvor this evening (Friday).
With an English title, the Wine & Fado – Sounds and Tastes from Portugal event will be featuring the best national wines and fado music along the riverside area until September 1. The event runs each night from 7pm to 1am and visitors will be able to enjoy the voices of famous Portuguese fado singers while tasting national wines. But the event wouldn’t be the same without food and so several stalls will be serving typical dishes (at an additional cost). Entry costs €10.
