WOODY ALLEN is to be the main attraction at the New Year’s Eve party at Casino do Estoril, near Cascais.
The cinema director, who also has a jazz band and plays clarinet, has visited Portugal on two occasions previously. His first trip was in 2004/05 when he was invited to the New Year’s Celebrations, playing solo at the Salão Preto e Prata at the casino. Last year, the Hollywood director played at the Centro Cultural de Belém, in Lisbon, but this time with a group of six jazz musicians.
This festive season, Allen is returning with a solo show again.
