Yannis Petrakis, the director of sales at the Pine Cliffs resort in Albufeira, has taken on new responsibility after also being named the resort’s director of marketing.
“We have achieved historic results at Pine Cliffs and it is with enthusiasm that I accept the role of director of marketing as it is something I had already done before in my career,” he said.
Petrakis added that the merging of both jobs will give him the chance to carry out more comprehensive work.
“This is a unique resort, both in Portugal and the world,” he said.
Yannis Petrakis is from Greece and studied International Hotel Management at the University of Surrey in the UK. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Greek and “loves Portugal” and the work he has been carrying out at Pine Cliffs.
