Mystery surrounds the reason that a 12-year-old girl fell to her death from a 10th floor window at Quinta Grande in Alfragide, in the Amadora area outside Lisbon, on Sunday night.
Witness reports talk of a family argument inside the girl’s home. Tragically, the child was still alive when she was found in the Praçeta do Miradouro, but despite rescue workers’ attempts to stabilise her, she died shortly afterwards.
