ALGARVEANS MEMBER Diane Castillonings was offered a special makeover as leading lady in the theatre group’s latest presentation entitled Nobody’s Perfect.
The new look was created to make Diane look and feel more like the character in her new role. Diane plays Harriett, a feminist publisher who falls in love with novelist Leonard, a male writer who only finds fortune and recognition by writing under a female pseudonym and identity.
Diane was treated to a full professional hair make-over at the Victor Picardo hair salon in Lagoa by hairdresser Neusa Furtado, from Praia da Luz. Neusa added highlights, lowlights and extensions to Diane’s hair, before giving her a very modern and professional look with an asymmetric cut.
The star was then whisked off to Carvoeiro for her make-up, to complete the makeover at Lara Costas home salon. Lara applied day make up but, on the play’s opening night, she will apply theatrical make-up.
Lara is also a member of the theatre group and does all the actors’ make up prior to their performances.
Diane loved her new make-up. “I can’t believe the difference”, she said. “I love my new hairstyle and although I wouldn’t normally wear makeup, I think it looks fantastic.”
