CLUBE NATURISTA do Algarve (naturist club of the Algarve) celebrated its fourth birthday on July 14 with a day at Figueira beach followed by dinner in Vila do Bispo.
The club strives to defend and promote naturism in the Algarve and is part of the Portuguese Federation of Naturism as well as the International Nudist Federation. Being a member of Clube Naturista do Algarve allows people to apply for an International Naturist Card, which gives the cardholder access to all member naturist centres in the world.
Activities range from days at the beach to picnics and even naked runs. Upcoming events include days at the beach at Praia Grande, in Pêra, on August 12 from 11.30am and Adegas beach, in Aljezur, on September 2, from 11.30am. There will also be a naked run at Meia Praia, in Lagos, on September 16 from 11am and a Christmas party and barbecue, which is due to be held on December 16, in Lagos from 11am.
The club is open to everyone and all nationalities are welcome. It is a social club for likeminded people to meet and have fun.
