Quercus, the national nature conservation association, is re-opening its Algarve headquarters at Faro’s Rua de S. Luís on October 27.
The office had been closed for several years due to administrative reasons, but the local team was still assisting the public with their environment-related queries and complaints.
To mark the occasion on Sunday, several activities related to environmental education will take place.
A walk in Ludo taking in the Ria Formosa scenery will begin at 3pm and participants should meet at the start of the road to Faro Airport.
