Quinta do Lago North was the challenging venue for the Atlantic Golf Society Pairs Day.
In a closely-fought affair, Tom Poolton and Mick Kavanagh managed to edge past Seamus Fox and Dave Pugh with 38 points on countback.
Seamus Fox and Craig Evans were the nearest-the-pin winners. Andy Willimott from the Atlantic Golf Society said: “Many thanks to our sponsors Burrowhead Holiday Village, who helped to provide a great day as well as food and entertainment at the Atlantic bar in the evening.”
The next society day will take place on October 16 at Palmares with non-members welcome.
