A GOLDSMITH from Setúbal was shot and killed by armed robbers on August 20.
José Correira, 58, was shot twice in the head and died in hospital due to his injuries. The case is now being investigated by the PJ. No arrests have been made yet.
Another attack on a jewellery shop took place the following day in Vila do Conde, 20 kilometres north of Porto.
Shop owner Paulo Neves was threatened by four men with a sawn off shotgun.
The men were unable to steal any jewellery because Paulo Neves had the shop door locked as a security precaution.
