FRESH FROM its success in Hamburg and Munich, the biggest Barbie exhibition in the world comes to Fábrica do Inglês in Silves this month.
Opening tomorrow (July 16) and continuing until September 4, the exhibition boasts more than 1,000 Barbie dolls, including many rare models, and charts all the main milestones in the doll’s five decade history.
There is a play area for children and the Fabrica do Inglês cinema will be showing Barbie films such as Swan Lake. Aside from all the girly Barbie fun, the males of the family have not been forgotten, because the exhibition also includes some fantastic Lego models.
Entrance costs five euros and includes a two euro discount voucher for the Fábrica do Inglês’ restaurants. There’s also a ticket available at 17 euros, which includes entrance to the exhibition and dinner at the Churrasqueira. For more information, call 282 440 480
