A total of €5,000 in aid of needy children in the Algarve was raised during a charity bike ride from Quinta do Lago last Sunday.
The bike ride was organised by ACCA, the charity supporting underprivileged children in the region, and the Conrad Algarve hotel was the main sponsor of the event.
ACCA president Wanda Crawford thanked all other sponsors (Quinta Properties, Algarve Activity Bike Rides, Abacus, Birch Photography and Curiosa) for their support.
She said: “We also thank all of the ACCA team and volunteers who helped with prizes. We are working with a foundation to help young children at risk through the Child Protection Agency.”
