Now in its eleventh year, the latest edition of the BTT São Bras de Alportel mountain bike marathon due to take place on Sunday, November 3 is hoping to make a little bit of a difference.
In recognition of the economic difficulties currently experienced by many, organisers of the event have reduced the entry fee for the three 15km, 30km and 60km races to €10 which already includes a €5 luncheon voucher redeemable at any of the participating local restaurants. Alternatively, entrants can opt to pay €12 for the same deal with the extra €2 going directly to the Food Bank assisting the needy.
