THREE TAVIRA bombeiros have been seriously injured after their ambulance crashed on the Via do Infante.
According to the Captain of the Tavira Bombeiros, two of the firemen had to be transported to Lisbon Hospital for treatment. The third man was taken to Faro hospital.
They had been returning from the scene of an accident involving two vehicles on the motorway when the crash happened.
According to the President of Tavira Câmara, the men’s injuries are not life-threatening.
