Brit arrested for possession of cannabis plants
Last week, a British man, who has lived in the Algarve for several years, was arrested in Barão de São Miguel, in Vila do Bispo, for being in possession of cannabis plants, weighing 30kg in total. The plants were seized from his residence, following a weeklong surveillance operation of the man and his home. According to authorities, the man was co-operative and even helped them pull up the plants!
