Bubba Brothers, the Algarve’s dynamic DJ duo, delighted crowds at Loulé’s White Night on August 30 with two special performances.
The concerts took place on the Cerca Stage, with two sets on the same night, the first alongside the Algarve Orchestra, and the second alongside special guest artists: Rui Pragal da Cunha (former Heróis do Mar), guitarist Ricardo Martins with his Portuguese guitar, and singer António Caixeiro, a well-known voice of Cante Alentejano.
“It was an extremely complex operation, with two consecutive concerts, half the time with the orchestra and then with our special guests. Coordinating everything live and on stage was a huge challenge… but if it were easy, it wouldn’t be for us,” said the duo.
The Bubba Brothers had already played at the 2023 edition of White Night, in a more traditional set by the Church of São Francisco. Since then, they have seen remarkable growth, performing on the main stage of the Faro Motorcycle Rally for the first time, as well as appearing at several national and international festivals. “We have to thank the municipal council of Loulé and Paulo Carvalho da Silva, who have been tireless in their support of Bubba Brothers,” the duo added.
The Loulé concerts were described as a “perfect fusion of electronic music, classical music, fado, and Cante Alentejano.”
“Maximum risk and even greater pleasure for everyone who saw us,” added one of the members, Eliseu Correia.
