THE COLLAPSE of an old building at the historic centre of Braga, north of Portugal, on Monday morning, caused the death of three construction workers.
The men were working on a neighbouring building when the collapse ocurred.
According to the Portuguese working conditions authority, Autoridade para as Condições de Trabalho, only this year a total of 65 people have already died due to work-related accidents, 32 of them in the construction sector.
