CACELA MARKET, a monthly fair in Vila Nova de Cacela in the eastern Algarve, is returning in July after a long period of cancellations by the local Câmara.
It will be held in a new location, belonging to Vila Real de Santo António Câmara, near the EN125 and away from the residential area.
The Mercado de Cacela (Cacela market) was suspended for two months due to the lack of facilities at its previous site in the eastern part of the village centre, near residential areas.
Infrastructure work is being finished at present and, according to Luís Gomes, the Câmara president, the new market will have a bigger location and better security conditions.
