The Algarve Tourism Board is looking for a buyer for its 16th century Portuguese caravel replica Boa Esperança.
The tourism entity decided to sell the craft after it suffered a reduction of 30% on its budget. The caravel is worth “a few hundred thousand euros, but not just €50,000, €60,000 or €70,000”, said on of the entity’s vice-presidents.
