The Vilamoura Champions Tour 2013 Grand Prix main event, carrying €60,000 in prize money, was won by American show jumper Katie Prudent.
The conclusion of this year’s well-received inaugural three-week ‘Tour’, which saw many of the world’s top sportsmen and women compete in the Algarve, now gives way this Sunday to the regional dressage heats leading into next season’s national championships. The action in the ring offering prizes to all competitors and presided over by judges Jet Van Oers and Antonio Vicente is then followed by an equine vetenary workshop held by Luis Neves from 2pm at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre.
