The traditional Christmas Carol Service by the International School of the Algarve students will be held at Igreja Matriz in Lagoa on Friday, December 6 at 7pm.
The Christmas Carol Service will last approximately one hour, during which several choral groups, representing all school ages, will perform. The choir will integrate for the first time pupils from the Espiche (Lagos) Barlavento International Primary School, which is part of the International School of the Algarve.
Students will sing traditional Christmas carols from various countries in English, Portuguese and Hebrew. At the end, a joint concert of around 200 voices will sing the traditional International School of the Algarve Christmas ‘medley’, which always draws the participation of the parents in the congregation.
The choirs are accompanied by piano, played by Head of Music Gita Nasta and Bruno Rodrigues.
