Christmas carolling

More than 100 local residents of Vale da Telha joined the Aljezur International Choir for a charity Christmas concert on December 16 at Pastelaria do Parque coffee shop.

Around €300 was raised during the concert, with €160 being donated to the local community association AMOVATE to buy wheelchairs for the orthopaedic ward at Portimão hospital and the remainder of the money being donated to local animal charity AEZA.

and sausage rolls while carols were sung in Portuguese, English and German, and Trevor Herrington entertained the audience with songs played on the trumpet.
