This festive season, the Algarve Crafts Association will be holding two fairs, one on December 5 at the Carvoeiro Clube de Ténis from 1pm to 6pm and the second on December 18 at the Mirage Restaurant in Luz from 11am to 4pm.
Original, handcrafted items by local artists will be on sale for those visitors looking to buy unique Christmas presents.
There will be stained glass items, collector’s teddy bears, art work, cards, jewellery and much more.
Dianne Worman of the association told the Algarve Resident: “There is something for everyone on sale with prices ranging from €1 and this is also a chance to meet with the members and learn about our meetings.”
“During the fair on December 18, we will be raising money for Luz-based special needs school NECI and there will be mulled wine, mince pies and a Christmas theme as well as all the crafts on sale,” said Susan Raynor, another member of the association.
