Lagos Municipality is to distribute Christmas baskets containing food to the poorest households in the county.
According to a spokesman from Lagos Câmara: “This is a way to combat poverty and social exclusion and to provide a Christmas meal for those who are in need. We are going to deliver 425 baskets in the area.”
Meanwhile, today (Friday) Lagos Câmara will prepare and deliver a Christmas meal to homeless people.
