THE FIRST Loja do Cidadão, citizens’ shop, in the Algarve is to be created at Faro municipal market.
The agreement between Faro Câmara and Agência para a Modernização Administrativa (AMA) was due to be signed yesterday (Thursday).
The AMA is the public body responsible for the implementation and management of the Loja do Cidadão network. A citizens’ shop is a centralised public service where people can apply for official documents in one place. Tavira is also preparing the launch of a citizens’ shop in one of its shopping centres.
