CLIVE DUNN – “don’t panic, Mr. Mannering, don’t panic” – of Dad’s Army fame will be opening the Lions Clube de Loulé’s Garden Party held at Rua Vouga, Monte Golfe, Quinta do Lago, on Sunday, June 12, at 3pm.
All the proceeds raised will go towards providing the bombeiros with much needed fire protection suits. Clive, pictured here as Corporal Jones the fireman, has kindly offered to open the party, be the guest of honour and sign copies of the photograph to help with the fundraising. Do come, give your support and meet one of the UK’s favourite actors, while enjoying all the attractions.
