PORTIMÃO PSP arrested three people for suspected drug trafficking and confiscated a large quantity of hashish last Tuesday (July 17).
Police officers descended on Jardim Visconde Bívar and the riverside in Portimão and arrested the suspects, who are all around the age of 40.
Allegedly, the suspects have already been identified with drug trafficking by police. They were present in court the following day but released on the condition that they must present themselves periodically to police. For a long time, Jardim Visconde Bívar has been renowned for being a problem area with drug trafficking.
