‘Electronic cane’ fitted with GPS presented for sight-impaired

The ‘electronic cane’ fitted with GPS mapping software allows sight impaired users to get from A to B by giving verbal instructions. Say reports, it is not ready for commercial sale, and still has some teething problems, particularly when it comes to the detection of stairs.
