A 20-year old man was killed cycling home in the early hours of March 11 when he was involved in a collision with a car on the EN 125 close to Luz da Tavira.
According to witnesses, a car approached in the opposite direction, reportedly at high speed, and did not see Claudio Gonçalves and hit him. He died immediately. The driver was taken to hospital with a suspected head injuries.
