THIS SUMMER, Fábrica do Inglês has organised three events geared towards the Portuguese market, including the Barbie World Exhibition and two pieces of musical theatre comedy.
Hundreds of Barbies, as well as the documented history of the dolls, are currently on display at the Fábrica do Inglês until September 2.
Fernando Mendes, a popular Portuguese TV game show presenter, is presenting Peso Certo, a musical theatre comedy, also until September 2. ÓQTRUP, a Portuguese theatre group, is performing a musical theatre comedy on those nights.
A spokesman for the Fábrica do Inglês was unavailable to comment at the time of going to print about the reasoning behind the choice of events selected for this summer. Tickets for each event may be purchased at the gate.
