TWO GERMAN benefactors have driven a fire engine from Germany to the Algarve for the Monchique bombeiros.
The vehicle is the latest equipment to be donated to the fire services in the region by Raymund Reineke, a lawyer from Bremen, and his friend, Mr Oppermann. Previous donations include 4,000 metres of hose and protective clothing.
