A FIRE broke out on farm land in Paderne last week, taking 21 men, assisted by five fire engines and a helicopter, to bring it under control.
Another smaller fire broke out in Freixo Secor, a rural area in Loulé interior, after lunchtime on the same afternoon. Following the efforts of 17 men, supported by four fire engines and a helicopter, the fire was put out in just over an hour. The causes of the fires are, as yet, unknown.
