GERMAN AIRLINE Lufthansa will be offering passengers flying in economy class more entertainment from November.
Up to 40 per cent of Lufthansa’s airplanes will have all seats in economy class equipped with video screens with a range of programmes for passengers to watch.
Tests have been carried out on flights between Detroit, Houston and Toronto with screens that had instructions in nine languages. The results of these tests will determine whether a touch screen or manual system will be used to operate the viewer’s selections.
