PORTUGUESE INTERNATIONAL and Manchester United’s golden boy Cristiano Ronaldo spent his holidays in Vale do Lobo in June.
He stayed in a luxurious beach-side villa in Oceano Clube in Vale do Lobo II. It was not his first time at the resort as he has joined his colleagues at Manchester United for pre-season training in the past and he chose the privacy that Vale do Lobo offers to relax in the aftermath of the World Cup. It is also a favourite holiday destination for some of his family members.
While on holiday, as well as relaxing, part of his day was spent training. He was spotted in the fitness centre, practicing on the football pitch and running along the beach.
He even managed to fit a game of tennis in with Diogo Gaspar Ferreira, Vale do Lobo’s CEO. Suffice it to say that Cristiano Ronaldo has already requested a rematch with his more than worthy opponent, according to resort staff.
The football ace will no doubt be returning to the luxury resort if Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United’s manager, and the club’s fitness trainer, Carlos Queiróz have any influence. They have described Vale do Lobo as “the ideal place for a holiday”.
