INSTRUCTORS FROM the Professional Golf Association, including The Resident’s golf contributor Tony Bennett, are due to be at Forum Algarve shopping centre in Faro between September 25 and October 7 to teach anyone interested in the sport for free.
Instructors will be on hand to offer pointers and teach the basic skills of golf to children and adults alike. An authentic putting green will be set up and available to use every day from 11am until 2pm and 4pm until 10.30pm.
The best players will be selected to have an extended free lesson with a golf instructor using Science and Motion software, and they will receive a personal report on ways to improve their performance.
This initiative is aimed at promoting golf and as the Algarve boasts more than 25 high quality golf courses, it is regarded as one of the best destinations for this sport.
