Rotary Club Estoi Palace International held its annual autumn quiz night on October 18 at A Floresta Restaurant in Almancil and raised more than €1,500 to support the ongoing milk project at the Casa do Povo in Estoi, in partnership with the Faro Food Bank.
Quiz master for the evening was Club President Shirley Dunne. Competition was fierce among the 12 teams attempting to answer a wide range of trivia questions. By evening’s end, only half a point separated the first and second placed teams.
The 77 participants enjoyed a two-course dinner in lovely surroundings provided by Virgílio and his team at A Floresta. The Club’s next quiz will be in May. Make up your own team of seven or come by yourself and organisers will arrange a team for you.
