THE PORTUGUESE Chiropractors Association raised 4,676 euros during their fundraising 5km run or walk on May 20 from Vilamoura to Quarteira.
Funds were collected by volunteers between May 16 and August 16 who were sponsored to run for charity. The run or walk, which started at 9.30am in Vilamoura and ended at the Hotel Galé Ampalius, was organised by the Associação Portuguesa de Quiropráticos (APQ), the Portuguese Chiropractors Association.
The money raised will be used to develop a higher teaching programme for chiropractors in Portugal.
