Female bowlers were back on top this week at the Amendoeira Bowls Club, with Janette O´Neil (left) and Jean Walton both making it to the semi finals of the crown green competition on June 21.
It was the diminutive Janette though, standing at 4 foot 11 inches, who beat Chris Crampton from Leeds who towered above her at 6 foot 4 inches by 11-5.
