Goodbye eight hours

IT HAS been admitted by the European Union: we are going to have to work more hours!

Or maybe it’s only confirming on paper what really does happen: there are few people who get a job that guarantees a working timetable of eight hours per day.

It’s not surprising!

A long time ago, it was said that the social model defended by Europe had its days numbered. It seems like it’s not possible to pay high interest for a house; car; children studying; credit cards; holidays; fine dinners and company, and to dedicate the traditional eight hours to working.

Let’s be optimist! If we work a few more hours and in doing so we have the ability to maintain our responsibilities and our quality of life…

The problem will be greater if we work those extra hours and even then can’t pay the bills.
