Dear Editor, Through your column may we express our gratitude to the following medical staff and friends who nursed and encouraged Lesley in her long hard battle against cancer: Dr Ana Cristina Duarte of Beja Hospital, Dr Bruno Santos and the nursing staff of the Oncology department in Faro and Dr Oskar and the nursing staff of the Radiology department in Faro.
A constant and true group of friends from near and far became regular visitors, drivers, carers, cooks and nurses, your love and dedication to Lesley and the family was truly amazing and was received with deep gratitude.
Finally, our heartfelt thanks to all those who attended her funeral on June 7 and to all relatives and friends who have sent such wonderful messages of sympathy and support, and a special thank you to all the young people who knew D. Lesley, who have posted messages on her Facebook.Thank you all.
