TrocaCasa.com, the Portuguese version of the website HomeExchange.com, is hosting the 3rd international meeting of the HomeExchange.com group at the Hotel Vila Galé Ampalius in Vilamoura from July 19 to July 23.
Attending will be the largest network of websites providing holiday home exchanges for thousands of people around the world.
HomeExchange president Ed Kushins said: “This meeting will give us an opportunity to highlight Portugal as a destination for our members, as well as to make known TrocaCasa to Portuguese families.
“We have many users who want to come to Portugal but there are not many homes available yet. We hope this meeting will make the Portuguese HomeExchange an alternative for holidays.”
The HomeExchange website network has so far more than 36,000 members in 130 countries and, according to Ed Kushins, “Portugal is one of the most popular European destinations for tourists.”
HomeExchange.com has been based in California since 1992 and currently has 26 sites in 16 countries: USA, China, Poland, Sweden, Hong Kong, Turkey, France, England, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Holland, Denmark, Hungary, Finland and Portugal.
